| ISP
stands for 'internet service provider'. ISPs allow consumers access
to the internet by subscription to their services. They allow subscribers
to dial in to their local network to gain simple access to the worldwide
web. ISPs usually provide consumers with various additional services
such as email accounts & webspace. Different tariffs are operational
for anytime access & metered access. Although some ISPs offer
their services for free this is often a false economy as telephone
